I originally picked the Donks to go 4-12. They ended up going 8-8, which was actually worse. This last loss, an embarrassing defeat to the Chiefs, kept them out of the playoffs for a fourth straight year. Josh McDaniels showed his immaturity once again (in benching Marshall and demoting Scheffler), and unlike his alienation of Cutler, this time it worked against him. I'm almost considering pulling a 'Cowboylaw' and ditching my favorite NFL team for a worse one.

I think Josh McDaniels looked like a genius for 6 weeks and then the rest of the league figured out that Kyle Orton was our QB and any amount of pressure would cause him to fold like a cheap suit.
If you allow KC to score 44 points on you, I don't want to see you in the playoffs. Period.
I think McDaniels decision to bench Scheffler and Marshall really negatively influenced team morale. I hope he hasn't lost the key players on his team.
I won't gloat, because fans of 4-12 teams shouldn't do that. But, I will point out two things:
1. Way back when the Donks were undefeated, I posted in the comments that the Chiefs would beat them once this year.
2. When I abandoned my Donkey fandom, I did so in favor of the 49ers. In the last 80s, that was a good move. A much better move than rooting for the Browns now. I only became a Chiefs fan when Montana migrated.
Like the Midge, I too did not want to see this team in the playoffs, so perhaps Sunday's embarrassment was a blessing in disguise. And perhaps it bought Haley some time, which is what Chiefs fans should NOT want.
Cowboylaw, perhaps I'm a little confused. So you followed Montana from the 69ers to the Chefs. Why didn't you go back to the 69ers when he retired? They still had good teams. The Chiefs, on the other hand, haven't been watchable since Christian Okoye and Derrick Thomas were going off....
