Back to reality

Now the truth about Colin Powell's "intelligence" regarding Iran's nuclear program comes out. Iran very well may be planning the largest arsenal of nuclear weapons in the world, but you can see here from a speech made by the President in 2002, that Bush has known about North Korea's intentions for two years. Earlier this year, North Korea stated that they won't cooperate with Washington as long as the Bush Administration continues to take a hardline stance. Does this seem like the beginning of a bad Tom Clancy novel or is it just me? The fact that we're targeting a predominantly Muslim country's infantile weapons program again and continuing to ignore an Asian one, when North Korea is closer to actually having nuclear weapons that could hit the US is a poor decision. This foreign policy gives terrorists another reason to continue to threaten the US, as if they were lacking inspiration.
